A fundraising event is an event or campaign whose primary purpose is to raise money for a cause, charity or non-profit organization. Fundraisers often benefit charitable, non-profit, religious, or non-governmental organizations, though there are also fundraisers that benefit for-profit companies and individuals.
Fundraising or fund raising (also known as development) is the process of gathering voluntary contributions of money or other resources, by requesting donations from individuals, businesses, charitable foundations, or governmental agencies (see also crowd funding). Although fundraising typically refers to efforts to gather money for non-profit organizations, it is sometimes used to refer to the identification and solicitation of investors or other sources of capital for for-profit enterprises.
Traditionally, fundraising consisted mostly of asking for donations on the street or at people's doors, and this is experiencing very strong growth in the form of face-to-face fundraising, but new forms of fundraising, such as online fundraising, have emerged in recent years, though these are often based on older methods such as grassroots fundraising.
Online fundraising pages have become very popular for people taking part in activities such as a charity. Those pages facilitate online payments in support of the charity.
Popular charity fundraisers in major American cities include lavish black-tie gala benefit dinners that honor celebrities, philanthropists and business leaders who help to fundraise for the event's goals through solicitations of their social and business connections.
In reference with the motion of this article, Today! I will be presenting you a particular undisputed project called: WatchUGot
WHAT IS WatchUGot?
WatchUGot is an Ethereum based social networking app that provides users with the tools and platform to develop community fundraising campaigns. We combined the crowdfunding components of GoFundMe with the social aspects of Facebook and Instagram on a blockchain. WatchUGot allows users to create and participate in fundraising initiatives for meaningful causes, while being rewarded with real cash-value in the form of our WUG tokens. Our legacy (non-blockchain) version of WatchUGot is already live and available for download on Google and Apple marketplaces.
our primary motivation was to develop a platform that would provide users with the tools to develop community driven charity-initiatives to benefit good causes. We also endeavor to provide exposure through social awareness campaigns and educate community members through the direct and practical applications of blockchain based technologies. Secondly, we were inspired by the phenomenon of viral-challenges and presented with the opportunity to introduce a novel procedure and fun product for promoting community driven, charitable initiatives. Our application is designed to facilitate universal use and compliancy for all markets, in hopes of inspiring charity and ethical awareness towards the benefit of all people. Another motivation was to address the challenges of utilizing blockchain technology in a meaningful way and introduce it to existing mobile markets. In doing so, we developed a unique method for integrating smart contract protocols to our existing Android & iOS platform. (WatchUGot – Viral Challenge Game) Lastly, we’re fans of innovative applications like cryptokitties and community fundraising platforms like, Indiegogo. We’re motivated to pursue a path of blockchain-based software innovation and avoid the pitfalls of centralization provided with conventional fundraising mediums. The Ethereum (ERC-20) WUG token is the official coin for use with the WatchUGot store and game environment. WUG is the primary, native currency for virtual and physical items exchanged on the WatchUGot application. It is also the exclusive currency for donations made toward charitable causes and the only token redeemable for cash-value. WUG was designed with the intent to enhance the user’s experience by providing meaningful value and rewarding users for active participation. Eligible users are able to purchase WUG and RIVL tokens directly from the WatchUGot store or receive them as rewards for task completion and community activity participation. Users may choose to exchange their tokens for cash-value, crypto, virtual/physical goods in our store, or donate them directly to charitable foundations. We subscribe to the notion, “It’s not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving” -Mother Teresa. As such, WUG tokens provide a medium and monetary value for donations to charitable causes and maintain a retail face-value . We were intrigued with viral initiatives like the “Ice bucket challenge”, but observed the lack of structure and inability to directly donate to the cause as significant shortcomings. The WUG token, in conjunction with the WatchUGot platform avoids these pitfalls by providing a native currency, community moderated format and administrative oversight that allow for charitable campaigns to succeed. WUG utilizes the updated ERC-20 token format as the mostly widely used utility-standard, intended for universality and integration with secondary market wallets. Unlike the RIVL token, WUG is available for transfer to cryptocurrency exchanges (like Binance, HitBTC or Huobi) for eligible users residing outside of the US, China and South Korea

MY OPINION CONCERNING THIS PROJECT
In my own perspective, I can see WatchUGot as an innovative, incomparable and undisputed project with a great vision and unique ambition to be the most smartest and respective projects in the nearest future all over the globe.
CONCLUSION:
Nowadays a lot of projects are being created in different countries, But not much of them with solid standard and good qualities as WatchUGot does.
